Meet the Host

Dr. Pedro is Vice President, Medical Director of Vyaire Medical in Illnois. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist and previously was the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Revolutionary Medical Devices, which focused on breathing solutions and Vyaire acquired in 2017. A graduate of Brown University, he earned his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology, including serving as chief resident, at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the New York State Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Minear is a member of the faculty and associate staff of the Department of Anesthesiology at The Cleveland Clinic Florida-Weston, for which he also serves as Director of Research for the Center for Hospital-Based Services. A graduate of Emory University, he earned his medical degree at Stanford University in California, and is pursuing an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. He completed his anesthesiology residency, including serving as chief resident, at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY, and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Columbia University in New York. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Florida Society of Anesthesiology, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American Association for Physician Leadership.
