5. Local Storage vs Cookies

   Local Storage is similar in purpose to Cookies and introduced in more recent browsers. Vyaire uses Local Storage for:

   • Search Facets – this is a multiple options search functionality. It saves data from the latest search options to improve your experience, as a user, avoiding the need to re-configure the search options every time you return to the search page.

   • User Checked – this is a flag indicating if you, as a user, visit our US site from a different region. This is used to prevent automatic redirection based on your IP address to the correct local site.

   • Redirect to Domain – this is a domain name or full path (e.g., www.vyaire.com/uk) to a local site based on your, as a visitor, IP address.

6. Other technologies

   In addition to cookies, we use some other similar technologies as follows:

   • Web Beacons: small graphic images included on our website or emails or those of third parties to provide analytics information;
